Default Possible vent problem

Tonight while driving the car with the windows down and the
AC off, it felt like warm air was coming out of the vents. I had the blower switch in the off position and the air selection in the upper vent spot. None of the lights in the AC/heat control were lit.

Driving down the road, the air outside felt cool but the air coming out of the vents felt a lot warmer, almost like it was getting hot air from the engine compartment.

Is there a way to tell if the AC/heating panel is malfunctioning? Thanks.

Wayne

I would turn it down to your feet, I try to keep off the defroster setting as much as possible while not using it. But normal.
