I have an 2000 N/A 3800. The plug really goes no where! I just rebuilt my engine and went through the same panic about what I forgot to plug in. Lots of research and grubbing around the engine found not mate for it. It is for an accessory (or a planned accessory?) from a different model.

If someone is motivated enough, here is an idea: turn your car on and then use a test light or voltmeter on it to see if any power is going to it. The results could be interesting...

if it does have power. i can see people doing mods with it..lol
