Default p1133 Trouble code

I have a 01 monte ss

This code has to do with the 02 sensor but I just put a new ac delco one in when i did my down pipe 2 months ago. The check engine light just came on last night while cruising on highway. I checked it today at autozone and it came with a p1133

I just did a few mods 2 weeks ago.. plog, er rockers, HV3, stage 1 TB

Anybody have any suggestions? Did it just get dirty? Can i continue to drive it?

That code is for your bank 1 o2 sensor, you replaced the bank 2 when you did the downpipe.

This sensor is bank 1 on the rear exhaust manifold, it might have gone bad if you didn't clean out your PLOG before installing it and there was dust from the making process. You will have to replace this one now.

The new one I put in when I did my DP was the one on the exhaust manifold. I reused the downstream one after the cat since that code is deleted from my pcm. I guess it got dirty because i didnt clean out my plog...

You can TRY to clean it? I'm not sure what you can use... Since you just replaced it, it should be really easy to remove and just try.

I messed up my upstream O2 sensor on my PLOG install. I saw debris in my PLOG, blew it out with the air compressor and that was apparently not good enough. I ended up having to replace my upstream O2 sensor as a result.

I really think this is a sign ZZP needs to warn people or clean the PLOG before shipping.

For me, my O2 was factory original and technically you are supposed to change it every so often (so for me, I was not that worried).

Ok... well I just put a new one in and cleared the code up at autozone... also pulled the plog off quick to blow it out(kinda too late). I'll be driving it this weekend and will be watching out for the light to come back. I hope this fixes the problem. I was worried the light was something major since i just did those mods.

Odds are after a couple of drives with the PLOG, it burned off whatever crap was in it. If I did not mention that when we were PM-ing back and forth, sorry about that.

I also thought mine was a "fluke", guess not.
