Default P0341 code

Hello, I have a 2001 Monte Carlo with a check engine light on. I had it scaned and it was P0341-cam positioning sensor. I had it replaced and the light was reset. It came back on and it is still reading the same code. The car is idoling up and down, won't start at times and has even died on me while driving. Can anyone help me!! Thanks!

Well I exchanged the cam positioning sensor that I just had put in and got another one. So far its good and running fine. I hope all it was , was a defective part. I will post if anything happens! Thanks anyway!

You'll get defective parts sometimes....I bought an alternator for a car I had a few years back and I actually took 2 alternators back before they sold me a good one. lol. I learned how to check alternators at the store that time... )Welcome to the group and I'm glad your problem has been resolved. Don't be a stranger to the forum.
