RE: p0300 Code
are you suer its p0300?? because that code is saying mulitple cylinder miss fire...and that would just mean change your plugs and wires
as for the smell i'm not sure what that is...i would venture a guess as to the cat convertor has gone bad on your car..but i'm not sure on this

RE: p0300 Code
Hi thanks for the reply.
Yep it is a P0300 error. I used my OBDII scanner and that is the error that came up. I've been calling and writing everyehere trying to figure out what is going on. I drove the car all day then went to the bank this afternoon and left the car on. I was in the store about 5 minutes and when I came back to the car, I had these problems. The revs are way low. also I went for a drive about 20 min ago and when I an in drive but at a stop and turn the wheel, there is massive squeeling and the engine shakes badly and rpms drop very very low like it is going to stall. the lights also start dimming as I am turning the wheel.

RE: p0300 Code
Dunno man, rotten eggs, that's sulfer. Sulfer means very bad gas, or engine is running fricking backwards. or overly rich. or bad cat converter. I say take it mechanic that has a good rep with the fuel injected 6 cylinders. A bad cat would make it run badly, and smell funky too, or you might have a pre-cat exhaust leak which would make it run funky too. But exhaust leaks don't just happen while sitting at the bank.
Good luck finding the problem, I hope someone with more experience jumps in, maybe they'll have a better idea of what it is

RE: p0300 Code
A misfire will dump fuel into the exhaust and kill the cat fast if you don't fix it. The smell is the cat getting soaked in fuel. You need to find out why you have a misfire. when was the plugs changed last? what does the wires look like ( ohm them out if you can ) How many miles on the vehicle? from there its other ignition items but most of the time its a bad plug/wire issue. There can be problems in the fuel system side but sounds more like bad spark.

RE: p0300 Code
Oil change was just done last month. there is around 79000km i believe. I've never changed the sparks as i have had the car myself less than a year. Looking at the ignition coil packs, coil 1 post was rusted badly. the others were fine. The post on spark one was fine though. No Corrosion.
