I believe so. I recently drained it and filled with fresh coolant, replaced the thermostat, and it still overheats. The radiator isn't leaking at all and i'm not sure if the fans are kicking on when they should. Any help would be appreciated

Do you have air in the system? Did you do a few full bleeds until liquid started to come out of the bleeder valve?

Oh...I know exactly what you are talking about!! I too have same 2000 MC SS. This actually happened to me. First the one of the fan motors died, strained the second motor, blew the switch. All that added extra work to the water pump until it died... Long story short, its in one of the fuse boxes under the hood. Should be labeled. Check it, its easy to tell if its blown. Mine looked burnt. Changed and fans back on like clock work. If you cant find it, let me know and Ill dig under my hood and look again for it. Its been so long since that happened I am not able to give you a exact location other than I remember under the hood.

Btw...considering that I have changed EVERYTHING (no jk) related to cooling system on that car, I am sure I can guide you pretty much on what all to check for. Let me know what you find with that switch, if its ok I have other things for you to check.
