Had what I think was sudden failure of overhead lights, dome, vanity mirrors, map lights in rearview mirror, and trunk. Checked fuse and it was blown. Put in two new fuses in succession. Blew both before I could get them fully plugged in. Anyone with similar experience? Short or bad/dirty connector?

Follow-up FYI. Took my car to Chevy dealer. Mechanic spent about half an hour poking around. Service writer says - nothing simple or obvious. Wire runs through dash, up into headliner, forward to visor and rearview mirror lights, back to dome, then into trunk. Think wire is pinched somewhere but prob have to take out headliner. Call and make an appointment for all day fix if I want to pay for that.
