Default Outer Tie Rod

Hey guys one of my outer tie rods needs to be replaced and I am wondering if I should replace them both at the same time. Also has anyone ever replaced the rear trailing arms on their car and about how difficult would that be? Thanks for the help.

Hey bud good to see your out here still. If it was me I would replace both, trouble is probably not far behind. Trailing arms are simple to replace, knock out the old bolts and install your new ones. No adjustments required, replaced my whole rear suspension. Have to get together this summer, another Monte guy from Spanish Fork just joined the forum last week after I told him about it and he knows of 2 other Monte's here in Utah county. Could be cool..........

Thanks for the reply. I am trying to locate some of the GMPP trailing arms the chevy dealer in american fork told me he could get them a few months back and now isn't able to find them in the system. We still need to get together I want to see that beast. That would be awesome if we could get those other guys together as well.

You don't really need to replace the tie rods in pairs, I replaced one on my Honda like 2 years ago and the other one's still good. Just make sure you mark or count how many times you turn it to get it off, otherwise have fun trying to get it back perfect so the car won't pull
