Question One fog light dimmer than other?

Hi guys, ive been having a few problems with my fog lights recently. It seems like sometimes one fog light is dimmer than the other one. I own a 2006 3.5L Monte Carlo LTZ. I don't know much about the fog lights, maybe a wiring problem? faulty bulb? Im not sure.. Im planning on putting blue bulbs in my fog lights either way but I have a need for everything on the car to be perfect before I move on to the next step; im sure you guys understand. Any help at all would be great! Thanks!

It could be a faulty bulb issue or just a simple ground connection...
I would check and clean all the connections at the ground level. maybe something as simple as a wire brush and a little elbow grease?

More than likely it's just a bulb going bad

Easy test, just swap the bulbs around and see if the dimming follows.

Does anyone know how to actually get to the fog lights in the 06/07? There sure does seem like a lot to take off!

I think the easiest method is removing the headlight housing and then reaching down.

The headlight housing is really easy to remove though, just one clip and 1 screw, then unplug and set aside.

You can just get at the bulb from underneath. Thats how I did it.
