old man

where can I get a used transmission case to start over 2006 montecarlo SS 5.3 engine. I have all the internal parts. juat need a case ending in 762.please advise. I don't like defeat.

May I ask why you wouldn't re-use your old transmission ? I guess a few places to look would be local auto yards, Craigslist or try contacting a transmission shop they might have a core . Good luck .

I hired a shop to remove my transmission and they broke it and are not a reputable shop. bad news for me, I can buy a new one but used ones are hard to find. just trying to save a little money.
