Default oil light

I have a 98 monte and can't seem to get the change oil soon light to go off. I got it changed a couple weeks ago, tried to hold down the odometer reset, and there's no button in the glovebox. Don't have a manual for the car. Any ideas?

I checked that out and i think maybe that's just for the newer models. Any new suggestions?

Your gen Monte can be reset by turning on the key and pressing the accelerator to
the floor quickly 3 times....

Let me know if this did the trick..
