Oil Change Question

Default Oil Change Question

So I changed my oil tonight, I reset the oil timmer and it only changed to 99% oil life........is this alright?

I dont think you have anything to worry about. One thing you can try is to reset it again and see what it does. Just an idea. Hope this helps.

Yes, but I do remember my Cadillac saying 100%

Did you reset it through the Radio function buttons or did you use the gas pedal option?

By the way ... what Oil did you put in?

i have never had a % for the oil life . Wish i did lol would tell ya if it is getting dirty in the motor. so you can flush it out once in a hwile LOL

99 is close enough anyway. i've seen this on some vehicles myself, i think some of them dont have room in the display for 100, but then other might. some vehicles you can change oil on, reset to 100% and they'll read 99% when started.

There might have been a hair of old oil in it as well and it might be reading that. I'm not sure how those sensors work.
