Normal idle oil pressure?

Default Normal idle oil pressure?
I noticed today that on my oil pressure gauge the needle is one mark below halfway at idle is this normal?

Yes, it should go up as RPM's increase.

These "stepper" motors are known to go bad and give false readings also.. They dont always just stop working..
