No sound on radio in 2000 Monte Carlo
I have a 2000 Monte Carlo ss. My radio has no sound although it clearly works, as it's still turns on and displays info. I've gathered (mostly from this forum) that my best and cheapest option would be to buy a metra amp bypasser. So I went inside my trunk and unplugged the wires connected to the amp and took a couple pictures. What I need to know is if the amp bypasser will work with the setup I have. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

01' SS Raidio no Sound.....Can't Sing!
I've read about all the answers and You Tube vids on this issue. Radio works, Amp "has Power" ( Mine only has 1 Orange and Black wire not 2 of each), Wires in loom under carpet "has Power". New speakers. Comes on & off..... All wires & connectors are good...Radio , loom , amp....
Heres a New ?????, My ignition is real sloppy to the point I can take the key out at any position. If its not completly turned off I can start it with a spoon.... Could the Ignition switch be the problem? On my Truck (GMC) that switch controls everything..... so wondering IF it could be that, Do I need the Switch and lock cylinder? My Wife is killing me over this NO MUSIC.......
Another ?, I've been getting recal notices and was told they Only give you new keys with a small hole to stop the swinging / bouncing motion. Do they give a New Ignition assembly?
Thanks!
