Check for any water/antifreeze in the passenger floor. If so, heater core went out. If not maybe the blender door is stuck that changes from air to heat. Does the air blow cold?

Do you smell any antifreeze under the hood?

Definitely a coolant leak, you need to get it pressure tested, put a pressure tester on the radiator fill tube and pump it up, then see if you can figure out where the leak is. Could be any hose or the radiator or coolant elbows that go from pulley tensioner to the manifold. Best case its a hose worst case could be a head gasket.
