Default No crank starting procedure

Hi guys,

Last year my wife's 2002 MC had that problem that several MCs have: turning the key in the ignition and nothing happens. She would wait 20-30 minutes and eventually it would start.

I found on this forum a procedure to start when this happens. It was a really simple procedure involving flashing the lights three times and some other steps I don't remember. It took less than a minute. I printed it and she kept it in the glove box. She used it several times and it worked. But a few months ago I replace the ignition on her car and it doesn't happen anymore. So she trew the paper away.

Now it happens with my other MC and I would like to retrieve that procedure. I have search for it using every keyword I can think of: ignition - won't start - passlock - passkey - no crank - etc but can't find it.

If anyone knows that procedure or can help me find that tread, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks

Thank you STUMPMI ! You pointed me in the right direction. It was not ignition relearn, it was ignition reset. I should have found it with ignition alone, but I guess I missed it because too many treads were found.

This method worked on my wife's 2002 and on a 2000 that didn't crank at a used car dealer. I was able to negotiate a 750$ reduction because it didn't start

Thanks again
