So I was putting my stock stereo back in and when I was finally done I went to start my car and it did nothing. then I noticed the gauge cluster wasnt working. all it had was light and the check engine light on. no gauge movement what so ever. I checked my fuses but I didnt find any bad. Any idea as to what fuse in particular is zapped?

 

Sounds like more of an issue with the security system, not sure what would cause it.

 

I was working at it today. had friend with a gm expert and since we can start it by crossing the solinoids he says we have to get the security system reset.

 

He'd know better than me, I just remember reading on here someone saying there car did this when they replaced the ignition switch, not sure what they did to get it fixed.
