Default no chimes, radio, turn signal noise 2006 ss

Hey everyone. Well already my first annoying problem out of nowhere. Haven't even had the car long, (since nov 10, 18000 miles) . I get in to go get some gas and I realize my turn signal making no noise at all, then go to turn my radio up and that's not working and no door chimes either when the driver side door was open. What the hell.. Any ideas appreciated.

check the radio fuse, does the radio turn on? the radio fuse is on the passenger side, i would check all fuses that are radio related just to be safe and since your in the area.

Hey Guys, Thanks for the responses. Yea the radio does control all those noises.

@trewyn15 - The radio turns on and everything its just that there is no music no matter how loud I turn it. No turn signal noise, no door chimes, etc etc.

The radio fuse is under the hood in the fuse box, am i correct here? Checked the manual and pinpointed the 'radio' fuse. Will try to replace it with one of the spares they have there which is identical to the 'radio' fuse when I get home today. Should you be able to tell if its faulty just by looking at it ? From the description of problems I gave could it be something else?

How common is a blown fuse anyway?

Blown fuses are very common. You'll be able to see it quite easily, the metal inside will be broken and it may have black marks around it. I'm unaware of the fuse being under the Hood but maybe Its different for 7th gens. My radio fuse was in the fuse box on the passenger side when I blew it installing my new headunit.

If I am not mistake your SS would have the factory amp in the trunk between the two 6x9s. Please look for AMP fuse as well and replace that too.

Thanks guys. I figured it out. It was a loose AMP fuse in the passenger side fuse box. Fuse was still showing to be good.
