I have a 2003 SS and I used this site allot since I first purchased it used in 2012 and I NEED HELP PLEASE. I keep breaking the famous engine torque strut mount. I understand that you can use one from a supercharged grand prix. I can NOT find one. Can someone PLEASE tell me where, year, part number I need?? I CAN'T even find a new one. But I don't know what years, part number or website. Thank you in advanced. And this site helped me allot over the past 2 years.

You can do the same process with 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix to find the mounts. Good luck!

 

I still can't find it, looked at rockauto several times and under various GM makes and years. Looking at the 2005 supercharged monte, under engine and mounts doesn't show the correct bracket I'm looking for. I seen a post where the bracket comes off of a supercharged grand prix and the coil packs bolt to it and to the engine. I've looked everywhere online and still can't find the correct bracket. I have 2 off ours that both broke and I had both welded with extra welds on them, they just don't hold to very much extra power. I was looking for the cast iron or steel ones??

Yes there off and supercharged gp, monte, regal etc. Junkyard Is the best source for these and also posting in the wanted ads on club gp and grand prix forums or even on the Facebook groups dealing with 3800's

I could probably find you one if you can't (I'll post wanted ads for one)

 

Thank you, I certainly want and need one. Can these be purchased new?? I have been trying to find the part number for these off the supercharged cars but no luck or pics may not look just right. I am a member of Ebay and have Paypal.
