Talking Need technical help?

Hi my fellow monte enthusiasts.

My name is Russ,

I just wanted to let you all know that I have a complete full service official GM repair and service manual program that can give me details on every single part of the vehicle (Vehicles: GM cars and trucks 95-2009) which includes detailed repair and service procedures and wiring schematics of every electrical component of the vehicle.
Im willing to help anyone out with problems your having and will try my best to diagnose the issue.
I am not online all the time so please allow sufficient time for a response.

I would love to have a copy of this manual too. Not that I don't like getting the help but sometimes when fixing one problem you come across others that you could fix right are IF you have immediate access to the info

Just installed a double din pioneer radio to replace the factory unit. I used a Metra harness adapter with an external chime module. If the chime module is left plugged in, the battery drains overnight. Of course I need it to tell the radio to turn on and off and to provide chimes. Any ideas? Battery is good, no dead cells, alternator is good, no bad diodes and is charging at 14.7 volts. Any insight as to a fix is greatly needed and appreciated. I'm tech savvy so get technical if you like.
