recently took my car in to the shop to get this fixed along wit the recall. the dash lights go out while im driving the car. Dont matter if it is day or night and dont seem to matter wha tim doing int eh car. It is Completly random.

The rado and the dash dim out o the point that you cant see them This happend before and weni took it in to them this last time for the recall i told them about it. The claimed they fixed it.

well tey tried to anyway tey turned the dimer **** all the way up so that the lights were on when i got the car back and then when i drve the car at night they blinded me.

If this was a older car i would think the head light switch is goign bad. but this has the stereo in volved in it to. Now this is the factory stereo . It also seem to enjoy throwing the C.D.'s i play out of the radio.

hen they ask me if i am playing burned disk or bought disk. the thing will play for a while and start skipping and then throw a error code and kick it out of the deck.

So i guess what im trying to find out is do you have a idea what this might be?

these peole actually tried to tell me that the light over her ein Germany is briter and there fore it is causeing my lights to dim because the light is more intense.

Now i have heard alot of stories but i can honestly tell you i did everythign i could not to flat out call him a fool . the worse part is that he actually looked like he belived it him self.

if this was the case the head slights would be on. and then yes i could see the lights dimming out.

sound slike to me that you have a bad wiring harness somewhere or either a wire somewhere is shorting out.

I am having a cd issue w/my stereo too. It won't accept a cd. I took it to the dealer today, they are going to replace it under warranty.

 

i just wish this would have happend in the state where i had more options,

the lights go out completly if they are real dim it is not brite enough to see them at all
but if you mess with the switches sometimes they will come back on this is why i think it might be the ehad light switch. but i have no clue.

Theses are the same pepole who are telling me that my car is throwing the wrong codes for the body codes. They told me that my car dont have that code and my computer must be wrong.
I have no clue where they get the information from but i would love to get what theya re smoking

not that i know of in this area of the country I might be going to Frankfurt soon to find one if i cant get this one to do thier job

 

it's this kind of crap that has me worried that they are gonna try to drag *** when I take my MC in to have em address the tranny issue. It's not major at the moment, more of a nusiance, but for being such a new car this should not be an issue and if ignored, could definitely lead to premature wear and tear on the tranny

 

this is true but you might be feeling the slack of a clutch in there doing this to you.
If this is the case it is not a good thing ethiere
but it could also be the solinoid not working right if this is the case it is a easy fix i would think

 

either way, I want it fixed and w/no drama. I can get real ugly, real quick. I'll have my lawyer write a letter and have em replacing my tranny with a smile on thier face.
