Default Need help!

Yesterday my 2000 went out while operating. First off our CD player starting losing power then the engine started to rev up very loud and all the gauges on the dash started going down screeching. Turned it off now it won't crank all you hear is a clicking coming from the fuse box under the hood. The dash lights won't turn on but if they do they go on and off fast then turn back off. Anything electric doesn't work if you try all the gauges go down. Check the crank relay fuse and ign fuse but there good. Might be from the oil getting into the coolant or security?? I just need some opinions from people. Also we did put in a new CD player. Cut the wires for the clip then rewired the new clip to them.

How's the connections to the battery then? This does sound like a battery issue more than a security issue.
