So i hear grinding/screeching on my front brakes. So i need to change them.

I already know to follow this guide/thread.

Im just wondering what kind of good brakes pads/rotors to get. Or what exactly do i need?

I bought Ceramic pads from Auto Zone and have no complaints about them. As for the rotors I would just go with stock replacements. For painting the calipers I used the Duplicolor caliper spray paint.

So i got an estimate yesterday. And said there is nothing wrong with them. Just need a good cleaning.
So i bought brake cleaner. Gave the rear a good cleaning lastnight, and gonna do the front this morning.
Also, painting them blue. But initially they look too blue/bright.

1st time doing this, we are amateurs(me and my brother).

Anything i did wrong so far? Tips? Comments?

I also got good pics of the underside, which I will upload later.

The rotors don't look bad, but the pads could be a different story..

they look good so far, only thing I would have done is is cleaned the caliper more, it needs to be cleaned with a wire brush and then painted.

What paint did you use? High-temp paint needs to be used or it'll crack

I think they look good. It gives the car a nice pop of color. Aluminum foil works good for covering small parts. I always use the cheap stuff from the dollar store. It works great.

I used normal paint but with auto-primer. And now i can use that paint for other detailing.

Here is finished product. Im gonna go with a silver/blue color scheme. The rear Chevy badge is blue and my fav' color.
