Hi `Christophe,
What is your modification budget ? How much performance
to your want/desire ?
Mod's are limited to the 3.1L, but be patience, and I'm
sure our member's with the 3.1L will post their suggestions.
Tell us more about your Monte, and what you
have done to it so far. Is it completely stock now ?
Check back 2 see what member's post.
Good Luck, and we wish you safe/fun miles in your Monte

The 3100 was designed as a gas sipper and is really a poor investment for upgrading. You best bet would be to do an L67 swap to get a 3800 with a supercharger and then add mods on top of that.

The 3100 being an NA engine can really only get head port work, CAI, ThottleBody and exhaust upgrades. Pretty much you could burn through 2 grand and only get another 40 hp. With the L67 you could easily get 100 hp for about 1 grand.

He wants more performances in his 3100 lol. No offense, but I hardly think he has the skills to do a L67 swap.....

Go to www.milzymotorsports.com and then go to the engine performance tab at the side. Then choose the 3100V6 engine. There are a good bit of performance upgrades on there. You can also choose one of the other tabs on the side like exhaust, braking, ect and look for parts for your car. Its a pretty good site to check out.
