Default monte + huge water puddle = bad combination...

I was driving home yesterday, and over here in MI we had nonstop rain for two days for the first time this year, so needless to say, there was some major flooding. Well anway, I accidentally hit an ocean puddle, and ever since, the speedometer suddenly quit working, and it was running like crap.
Today I replaced the speed sensor, but to no avail - the speedometer still doesn't work, and now it shifts like crap. Although it is running better. Any ideas what the heck could have gotten fried? Thanks in advance!!!

It might be a problem with your flux capacitor.

best bet is to do a genaral tune up and fluid change frome the ground up if that do not work use a heat gun on the pcm to help dry it and check the coil packs as well it will clear up if it dont use a floor fan and let it hit it for the day

As much as I hate the stuff, WD-40 the crap out of all the wiring harness connectors you can see. They are everywhere. It will run the water out out wherever it can. If you can get it into a garage, a heated fan or just a fan in a warm shop under the hood for at least a day will do wonders.
