Not sure if anyone else has seen this, but on alot of pictures like signatures there is this little button, when you hover over it, it says "luminate is on" Anyone know what that is? just curious...

 

It's a way of interacting with images. I'm assuming they're going to use it for advertising just like the way certain words you post will have the blue double underline that creates a pop up ad when you hover over it.

I have yet to see this on any website. Not really a fan of it though. If people want to tag my pics on facebook, fine. But sometimes you just don't want certain pics tagged and cluttered up. Outside of facebook, I really don't want to see tags all over people's pictures.

Don't give forum owners any ideas. We got enough advertising as it is.

Sometimes the advertisements to the right of the forum resize the page?

I also get some popups..That I didnt authorize....

I have my popup blocker set at its highest setting and yet i still receive some...Hmmmmmm

The advertising sometimes resizes the forum on my iphone, to a very thin column that makes it a pain in the a$$ to read. I've mentioned to the owners about problems with advertising. But as you can expect, advertising pays the bills on a free site like MCF. So they tweak it a bit, but the advertising isn't going to disappear anytime soon.

As you can see in my previous post, I'm not a fan of tons of advertising either. As a hockey fan, I can't stand all the advertising on everthing in site. Next move will be advertising on the jersey's. Like in the international tournaments.
