the check engine light is a o2 cen.

 

I'm thinking possibly the 1-2 shift solenoid or the EPC (pressure control) solenoid in the trans, I think the LS has the same 4t65e trans as the SS? If so it's common in those. Not too simple of a job though since the passenger side suspension has to come apart so you can access the trans near the front passenger wheel well. At least that's how I remember it coming apart. Bonus answer - I believe the traction control and ABS lights are most likely a failed wheel speed sensor on one of the front wheels. I'd swap out both wheel bearing hub assemblies. See here for details: https://montecarloforum.com/forum/sh...ad.php?p=12379

The good news is these cars are well worth investing in. My '03 SS chassis has over 204k miles. I've done an L67 swap and a good amount of other repairs and it runs and handles great. Interior has held up far better than my '06 Charger that has less than 75k on it. If I splurge for new struts it will probably handle just like new again!
