Default low tire pressure message

i was driving my new used o3 monte ss into town last night when the low tire pressure warning came on in the message center in the guage cluster,i stopped at a service station and checked the pressure and put air in tires as needed,i then drove on but the message did not go off.i know the pressures are right in the tires(33psi).am i going to have to take this car some where to get hooked up to computer to get the message off or will it eventually go out on its own.thanx,christy.

There's a sticky in the "how to" sub-forum on that subject. It's REAL easy. You turn the ignition to on and click your heels together three times and..........
Really, it's over there and I'd tell you here, but you NEED to check out some of those stickys yourself, as they are GREAT.

I'm glad to see you've found what you need. It sounds like a plan!
Now you can drive like the wind, straining the limits of machine and man.

my front driver's side valve has a slow leak and my low pressure sensors trips every once in a while. i usually notice a "pull" in the steering before that though.

Man! That would just annoy the hell outta me. Why not just pull into a tire shop and have them replace the bad valve stem? A reputable place shouldn't charge you more than $10. I know of one near me that doesn't charge at all if its something small like that (increases the odds of repeat customers and/or future purchases and service). Call around. You might be surprised.

The valve stem on the Monte's is where the sensor/transmitter is located. They are much more then $10 to replace.
