Lost power, now won't turn over.
Has been awhile since I have been on. My account must have been deleted. Friend needs some trouble shooting on his 2000, with the 3100.
The car has power to everything, battery is fine. Turns key....no clicks, doesn't turn over, nothing. Runs power direct to the starter and it turns over but doesn't fire (key is in on position).
He was driving 40mph lost all engine acceleration and died. Would not turn over after that.

As for the issue your friend is dealing with, first and lights or codes? This sounds suspect to a passlock/security issue. I would be curious what happens if he does the PCM security relearn (there is a thread in the FWD tech info that steps through that process).
