Intake leak will not always show water leaking.
If the intake Or in most cases (gm is famous for RTV instead of gaskets). They run RTV on the base of the Manifold and block. If this RTV gets hard it can crack. Most intake leaks will be found where the intake mates at the corner of the head and block. That is why I stated before to use WD40 to spray around the complete intake system.
I think he stated also that the check engine light is now on. The first step would be to pull the codes and trouble shoot that area.....

ok you say there are a number of recalls, what are they?
I only knew of the leaking gasket and lower intake stuff. what else is there?

oh and i know one is to hav ethem put some stickers in your car also for the child seats etc..
but i havent been notifyed on any more otehr then this.

if you have a G.M. recall and you know it jus tgo to a local dealership and ask if they can run the vin tag to make sure the car was done already or if it was not dont already they shoudl know. they track all of this in teh nat. computer they have.

as far as a rental they might but not real sure on thsi as i know the one here would not give youa pack of matches with out having to beg for it and then opaying out the tail for them

Well we have replaced the coolant sensor, fuel filter, pcv, andreset the battery…and nothing. I am going to have the IAC valve replaced and if that isn’t it, shouldwe try the TPS…Also there are no error codes on the computer.

Yes it has and it reads that nothing is wrong, when it first started acting up we had it hooked up and it read that there was a problem with the thermostat and that has been replaced. Now with it getting colder the higher the rpm's are sticking, such as today they were at 1800 even after the car is completely warmed up!
