ok...someone enlighten me on the difference/////////

why are k and n filter kits around 290.00 and the others are all 30.00

the only diff i see is the air shroud is not with the cheaper ones......

is k&n trying to make a killing.....or are they worth that much?

the others have the same filter and inlet tube.....and connecters////////

 

Hrm, are you comparing apples to apples? Have any part numbers? I've never noticed that huge a price difference.

 

You're talking about the $30 ebay ones. Yeah, they're cheap for a reason. They suck... Hot air that is. K&N is a trustworthy brand name and company that has been doing the same thing for years. You are partially paying a higher dollar amount for a name brand intake, but would you rather know you have a quality product with a warranty, or some cheap piece of garbage under your hood, feeding your engine hot air, with a cheap filter that's going to fall apart eventually. I know what I want... Do you?
