i could paint it for you but honestly after seeing the shipping on one that is the size of my dash (painted red) and gettign prices to day to have the paint mixed for it would be almost 50.00 euro. you might be better off asking the body shop painting the stripes on it if they could do that becuse they have the paint already in the gun it might be really cheaper to do it that way.

tha tis how i had them repaint the engin cover on mine right before i had it autographed. I knew it was going to have to be really nice for the up comming show and they did it when they repaier where the sing jumped out and hit me. So they didt it for like 5.00 extra to cover cost of sanding it down.

Then i painted all teh red on to it agian and cleared over it after they singed it. So i know it would stay there.

WOW, this thread is 4.5 years old lol

Wet-sanding is using sandpaper that is wet and the surface is wet. Makes it not as harsh and helps smooth things out easily without completely stripping paint.

This isn't completely true. There are some cases depending on sandpapers - wet sanding can be more aggressive than dry. Only in terms of sanding certian types of paints and primers though.

Question "Red Bowtie on Steering Wheel"

Quick question for you... How do you paint the Red Bowtie on the steering wheel?... Is it even painted?... It's pictured on Mickey's post... Looks very cool...... Thanks,
