I have an car interior question. I have submitted a short .avi video that shows my problem. I want to reattach the piece that follows the front part of the window on the driver's side. The lower part, on the inside of the car, has become slightly detached. Is there an easy way to reattach this piece? Perhaps with a strong double-sided tape? Another view from inside the car.
That A-Pillar trim I believe has two small tabs that lock into the pillar and 1-2 tabs that lock into the roof panel.
It is possible a tab is broken or bent and preventing proper mounting.
Thanks, Jason. Can I apply a strong double-sided tape to hold it, or do I need to take it to a pro to fix it?
The A-Piller trim (the black plastic piece that goes up the inside of the pillar next to the windshield) does not use any double stick tape. It could be a simply matter of pull the piece out, make sure the tabs are still there and re-seat it. If it is damaged, hit a salvage yard to get a replacement.
