im stumped and out of money
alright my car hesitates and really sluggishin lowrpms and misfires. the only code it throws is the misfire code so thats no help. its runs good in open loop but when it goes to closed loop its just a dog. ive already replaced the egr, tps, plugs, wires, no vacuum leaks, all injectors are firing fine. idk what else to do. maybe the 02? any ideas? how much of a bitch is it to get to the main 02 sensor cause i have no money to pay someone to do it? thanks guys
Having owned several 3.4 DOHC'sI know how finicky they can be! Check your coil packs, make sure the terminals are clean and not rusty, that will give you ALOT of problems. Again, plugs, wires are a good palce to start. Make sure your Idle air control valve is clean (you can do this yourself) Do a throttle body service, clean your intake!!!!!! Also you could have thr dreaded intake gasket leak which will make your RPM's bounce up and down upon cold start up.

the guys at advance autoparts and autozne dont really know much about cars they just read what the scanner says but this is what he told me. "you have two codes, there both P0300 codes" but then he told me 4 different things that it listed, EGR, O2, Injector 4, & Catalyitc Converter. This was before i replaced the egr. I had the code cleared but it still came back on and i know its the misfire code becuse the light is blinking. I know my egr is fine, my mechanic said the injectors are doin fine, and i put an 02 simulator on it for my high flow cat so that should be fine, the only thing left is the main O2 i guess.
