Default How to remove wiper arms, 98 monte z34.

I need help on how to remove the wiper arms on my 98 monte z34. I took the nut off, but can't seem to figure out how to pull the arm off. Any help would be greatly accepted!

Thanks.

Unless someone else has figured out another way, you'll need a special tool to remove the arm from the nut. This one is $21.44 on amazon.com. I'm sure the discount parts retailers sell similar ones. It will not come off by pulling with your bare hands.

pull like hell or use one of those pullers. I managed to get mine off using a screwdriver underneath it and almost "prying" it up. I don't like that word but thats kinda what happened. You can also try spraying some lube or a rust remover on it and let it sit for a while then try pulling.

Thanks for the info. I tried with a screw driver earlier this week and also put a small crack in my windshield. Again, thanks.
