I'm new to the forum. I own a 03 monte carlo and the question I have is that my highbeams will no stay on. The highbeam control arm will not stay locked on but they still flash. any info would be great.. Thanks luckymidget43

I've had the same issue with my high beam control. Never found a solution to it though. I replaced the low beams with HID lights which are much brighter than my high beams so I actually never use the high beams anymore.
I'm sure someone around here has had a similar issue and should be able to help you out.

It is a bad multi-function switch. Mines on it's way out also, have to pull it a few times for it to work sometimes.
You can get a new one on ebay, or else I may grab one at the yard here soon.

Dont know about on a monte but my luminas multi function switch was $300+. It is more expensive if you have the tilt column with cruise control for that year. Standard column no cruse multi funtion switch was $50. Since cruse is not wired into ours its in the steering wheel I think it should be pretty cheap.
