this week. i dont have to worry about flashing right? just plug play and go?

On a 2007 you might have to take it in for a quick relearn

i know this sounds stupid but when you say take it in? do you mean a chevy dealer or anybody with a diagnostics machine.

you should be able to do the relearn yourself, isn't it the same as the 6th gens mike?

No, they are different. The car will be driveable, but you will need to get a Tech-2 to relearn a few sensors.

He states this directly on his website under the FAQ for that product:

You may be required to have a CASE or Crank Position Sensor Relearn performed to match the new computer module to your engine. This can be done at a GM dealer or independant shop with appropriate scantool and the average cost reported to us is $30.

i cant belie ve how hard of a time i am having even beieng able to find a shop to do this for me. they are all worried about security codes and key codes etc. what do i tell them? this is turning into a nightmare.

Email Will and ask for a recommendation? Perhaps by using the word "case relearn" they are wary
