Default further investigation

and poking around i found this plug disconnected but it was nowhere near where i was working and i cant find where it plugs back into. this is probably the source of all my issues....i have a picture but i dont know how to post that up. its right near the battery. red and blue wires.

When you attempt to start it, do you hear any thing happening? Does the motor spin, just not catch? Does the starter engage? Can you hear the fuel pump prime the line? You need to include some more details man.

absolulely nothing happens. starter doesnt kick. no noises click on. i dont hear the fuel pump go. hell my stereo doesnt even come anymore. my gages and headlights come on but thats it. i'm pretty sure its this plug i found cause i traced it back and goes into the fire wall. i just cant find where it came out of. before i got to working on it all i had to do was flick the key a couple of times and it would start up after about ten minutes of trying. if i could fid this plugs into and it does that again im gunna try replacing the ignition switch

Sorry. I've been off for a bit... If you had to 'flick your key' for a bit before starting, it sounds to me like the starter is bad. Now that you have replaced your battery, I think you may have a security issue. Are there any lights on the dash? I don't know enough about the 3.1 to be any help. I am hoping that people who check in on this thread may be a bit more helpful.
