Default Help needed ASAP electrical issues?

Hey yall, im having an issue with my 2000 Monte Carlo SS. I believed it was the alternator but I now fear I have an electrical issue. When I go to start the car it will not start unless everything including the dome light is off. Is this a wiring issue or could it be a bad fuse/battery cable. I did temporarily fix a stripped battery and wire screw with a new battery and a bolt to hold the positive wire on. Could that be my issue?

Its pretty obvious that its a connection issue at the Battery...

It may also be the Battery...

Since the clamp is not longer functional on the cable....that attaches to the battery...
I would replace the bad cable.
That would eliminate the screw/bolt issue!
