Default Help me! Fuel problems!

I have a 2004 Monte supercharged SS, dale jr edition and the other day i left for work as usual and didn't even get a mile away and it started stahling on me, i pushed on the gas and got nothin . . . I had it towed to a friends. We have checked the spark plugs they are good. Checked the Fuel pump, and it makes noise and u can feel it vibrating in the trunk. We tried spraying ether in the air filter and it won't go. . Also another person said my gas smells like Varnish ?! I got it at least 5 days before this at a Hy-Vee gas station(legitimate place). I don't know what else to do . .? I have been told to drain fuel and put some premium in and see if it fires? Fund are low so need a cheap fix fast! PLEASE HELP!

Welcome to the forums!

I am sorry that you are having problems with your Monte.

There could be a few different things that can cause stalling while driving. I hope someone with more expertise on fuel issues can swing by and can help you.

Did it completely shut off or were your RPMs bouncing around at all? Also, if you did in fact has contaminated gas it should probably be evident on your spark plugs. A little more information on the stall though please.
