Default 2004 monte carlo ss random stall

ok my moms monte just developed this problem. it will start and run fine still has good power,if you drove it you would think nothing is wrong with it until it just dies no sttuter or jerk or anything it just stops running like you shut the car off.but it does start right back up and run normal and you could go 100ft or 30mi before it dies again. i replaced the crankshaft position sensor allready and it did nothing. i thought with this new computer controlled B.S. it would throw a code but none are present.any thoughts?

I would start with the connection to the computer. This seems to be a short and if there is no codes thrown, I would start there. Good luck!

Ensure the wiring to the crank sensor isn't damaged. If that's not it, check your ground by the ICM. If all that is good, your ICM (Ignition Control Module) is probably going bad.

I was gonna say MAF but i see u got it. my friend at work had a very similar problem on his minivan, it would just die for no reason. It was a bad MAF.
