My 2006 Monte Carlo LT was blowing floor, vents and not defrost and wrong place for selected.


It was all confused and I have actually made an appointment with my car guy to repair.


I can repair but royal pain in the butt.


So decided to try the old fashioned pull the power (battery disconnect)


With my car I have the Kinetic power cell in the trunk so for those of you who have audio systems with power cells and I am guessing capacitors may also keep some power on don't forget the trunk.


Currently selection of where to blow is once again working correctly.


For those of you who have similar experiences can you shed light as in I am expecting it to screw up again so I wonder if others have/are going down same path?


I love GM styling but I am ashamed of GM interior and interior parts quality/reliability. Out of the 30+ vehicles I have owned 22 have been GM so I can speak with some level of experience.
