I'm hearing gurgling sounds as my overflow re-fills from the radiator after a long drive this can't be normal right?

Here's what's going on...

Loosing coolant, burning coolant smell, a visiable (can't find the actual leak) puddle of coolant in what looks like a tray under the belt, along with coolant kicked up from the belt under the hood. I'm having to put in about 1/2 gal coolant water mix about a couple times a week

I have replaced both cooling elbows, thermostat, flushed cooling system, burped the system.

Im getting air somehow and somewhere in the cooling system...I have pressure in the system (sometimes) UGH!!

So am I looking at intake manifold and/or exhaust manifold or what? Oh yeah temp is normal. I do have the crappy nylon gaskets on the intake manifold and I'm assuming the same on the exhaust manifold. If I need to replace the gaskets I have read here the metal ones are the way to go, what brand name should I invest in?

Have you had a pressure test with dye to pinpoint the leak ? How many miles on your 04 S.S. 3.8L.

Water pump sounds to be the culprit.

When mine started to go bad, as you said would leak unto the belt and shoot it upwards towards hood, and sometimes my face. Haha
