Got an alignment, now something broke...
So as I stated in my first ever MCF post (God I love teh internetz!), I own a 1998 3.1 Monte LS with .... isshooz. I think it's pozessed or something. It was kinda... tapped .... rather... smashed... in the left front fender, corner right by the darned headlight but the bracket didn't break thank goodness... the fender just crinkled in, the hood rolled sideways and down and the frame kinda got pushed. That, thank heavens, is all fixed with only about 2 hours of labor (very light and very high hit), I got a fantastic deal on the car so I wasn't complaining. Now I got my 4 wheel alignment and I'm noticing a "click click click" ing coming from somewhere on the outside of the car (not my engine) as it doesn't do it when I'm sitting idle, but it speeds up when I speed up (did I mention this car is FAST?), I hope hope HOPE it's not my wheel bearings being worn down from driving the car out of alignment (I have my before and after sheet if anybody wants the specs), I'd be happy if someone told me I just needed a brake job which is possible. It almost sounds like my pads are dragging?? I notice a little pulsing when I'm coming to a stop but as the car slows down the pulsing goes away.
also my anti lock light is on for whatever reason but my brakes work fine. And the engine light is on too, can't figure that one out it's been hooked up to a code reader so many times and it's not throwing any codes that make any sense (at least to my mechanic). I'm just worried right now about the clicking, I dont want my tires falling off as I'm driving down the road. Thanks for the help in advance.

the clicking may be caused by a pebble in your tiretread. also check underneath the front and see if the boots for the CV shaft are cracked or not. if it were the breaks clicking you would (hopefully) hear the saftey tabs start to squuueeeeeek before anything else drastic would happen. the lit ABS light may be caused by a disconnected sensor/wire on one of your wheels. I don't know if our '98's are that smart. pull all 4 wheels and check 'em out. for the Engine light, try disconnecting your battery for 30 seconds, or whatever you supposed to do, to clear the computer of any stored codes even though you say it isn't sending anything worthwhile to your mechanic.
No clunks on any turns, c/v boots look good. I got a REAR brake job after my mechanic told me to go buy the parts for the fronts... then he couldn't squeeze my car in. I took it to somewhere close to work, they said it was my rear brakes and showed me exactly WHY it was my rear brakes (after I spent money on parts for the front). The shoes were all mangled and the drums are KIND of warped (not to bad). They'll need replaced next time I get paid (I didn't really have 200 dollars for new drums plus labor) but I'm assuming that clicking was my brake shoes dragging because the springs were all popped out and my wheel cylinders were in bad shape.
Haven't heard any clicking, or the squeeka squeeka squeeka noise either. However the brakepedal still pulses and I get the vibrating in my butt as opposed to my steering wheel. The front end looks fine, however the idiot that owned it before me heated up the brakes because they're all purple.. it's not terribly good but the front brakes are brand new and I got my money back for the parts I didn't need.
Now if I could just get the damn thing painted....

sounds like everything is kinda working out for you. hopefully the remaining vibration will disappear after you replace the rear drums. get your car painted at Maaco or Earl Sheib if you're looking for a quick spray for low moolah.
i was told never to go near those places, they dont do a good job. My dad was a body man for years... and there is a place that does professional paint in spraybombs, they match it to your car's color (not the paint code inside the decklid white does yellow or get dingy over the years) it's just the hood and fender. However, i am still hearing some sort of squeaking coming from somewhere. Don't know what it is. Sounds like its coming from the back. Could it be springs?
