I'm running these from Summit with Hawk pads and have been happy from day one

Those won't fit his car. He has a different part number.

I've listed the Cragar's and the PowerSlots below as they are the best companies and they are also vented vs. solidwhich is probably the most important aspect.

Here is a set of Cragar (CrossDrilled/Slotted)- Total: $446

Set of the popular Power Slots (Slotted only) - You have to order 1 of the top 4 individually. - Total: $412

how do the ones I listed not fit his car? he's got the same 12" rotors that I have.

Yours are only good for 2000 - 2003 years. He has a 2004 and there is a different part number for it.

I understand what the website says, but the Cragars you posted say they fit 2000 - 2004. Again, the braking system hasn't changed on these cars, so they should fit.

Actually I've read there is a bit of a change in them, but I never really researched it. I know it has something to do with clearance for the rims and calipers.

But I don't know why one would fit 2003 and not 2004 unless it is just a hair smaller or something odd like that.
