FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY
I have a 2000 Monte Carlo SS 3.8. I need to change the fuel pump asembly and I was wondering if I had to drop the gas tank or can I take it out from the access panel in the trunk ? It looks like it's not screw down it seems to be turn and lock type. Can anybody help me with my problem. Thnaks cali2000ss

take it out through the access panel....
on the.... "It looks like it's not screw down it seems to be turn and lock type." ....i'm not exactly sure what you mean here, i belive there is a ring that goes around the top of the pump that holds it down, and you want to turn/unscrew that only, not the pump.
