another option is to make up a wre harrness from some extra wires you have around that plug in to the normal wires

then you can cut those and not yur cars harnes.

also will allow you to know witch one to cut before ya do it if you get it wrong on that one not that big of a deal

thought about doing that and useing a bluew LED for it to give it a purpel glow LOL
like the old blue dots had .

 

That sounds like a cool addition. I really liked the blue dot effect but I think it may be kind difficult to duplicate that look with just a blue LED??? The red in conjunction with the blue dot set it off at different angles by the cut design of the blue dot. But it's worth a shot. Let me know if it gives off the desired effect..

actually it would more or less turn it to a puprel looking light at all angels if it works, I liked the blue dots to I had them in the 56 chevy Many they look sharp.

This is true, but It'd look kinda funny if you have regular bulbs in your tails w/led's in the 3rd brake light. That being said, I would only do this if I bought the LED tail lights, that way all the brake lights would match.

i think that's what gets the attention.

 

when they are behind a lens your not going to realy beabel to tell what kind of bulb the person has in there just they will be dimmer or briter for the most part.

It is not like those LED bulbs were you can see the bulbs them self so i would not worry about that.But on a side note i do intend to change the rear tail lights at a latter date and time to the led direct replacemnt bulbs for my car

but if i can find them with the blue dot effect on them i would go for them over the standard style anyway
