Firewall hole for 1/0 Gauge wire.

nice, i didnt wanna make anything too permanent, but that was back when i was unsure about keeping it for a while hah, i just went right behind it, same concept tho, yours looks a little cleaner than mine =] i have a ton of wires under that carpet

Hey hopefully someone will be able to answer this. I'm installing my sub and amp system later today so you guys are saying easiest way to run my 4 gauge wire would be just pull that rubber piece up and get the wire behind it somehow and through the firewall?

You just drilled a hole through it? And what's the alternative? Just pulling that rubber piece out somehow and fishing it through?

you can get behind it by pulling up on the rubber or you can go through it, i will post pics this weekend if i remember of what mine looks like

Almost done with my installation got everything ran just have to wire the sub and everything to the amp! Going through the firewall was very easy!

Glad I've got a 5th gen, I ran 2/0 through the stock firewall grommet along with a multi-wire harness about the size of 4 gauge through my firewall hole
