Most likely the blower motor resistor. You will most likely also need the pigtail that plugs into it because they melt and then cause high resistance at the plug in point on the new resistor.
it's the resistor block. Make sure you get the HD one, that is encased in epoxy. There are some that are not.
Where would one find an HD resistor? I was going to pick one up at AutoZone for $30 dollars. They have another that's $40 dollars...?? Or does the one you speak of come from the stealer? Being the mechanic that I am not, I wouldn't know the difference either way.
