factory radio

Default factory radio

i have a 2001 monte ls. recently my factory radio has lost all sound. it turs on fine but has no sound. any advise would be appreciated.

I'd check the connections at the amplifier, the radio and all other connectors in-between. check fuses. umm have you recently done anything to your car? or like take something apart? done something to your trunk? put something big in there that could've pinched a wire on the amp?

i found that it was the amp itself! if anyone else is having this problem, you can get one from a junk yard. you may have to switch the external housing because not all the mounts are the same. its not all that diff. at all.
